We have reached the second half of the 4-year visit!

This summer we reached the halfway mark of the 4-year follow-up visit, and we are very happy to report that the participation of the BiSC families is being very active.

As we informed you at the beginning, this visit includes the collection of biological, anthropometric, neuropsychological data, as well as information about health and daily habits. To collect this data, we are contacting you via telephone call when your BiSC children turn 4. During the call, we explain the details of the procedure of the visit and we send you via email or WhatsApp the questionnaires about your own mental and general health. This way you can answer them from the comfort of your own home, taking advantage of a subway ride, during a break at work, or in the park while you watch your little ones play with their new school friends.

In addition, we invite you to an in person visit to carry out a neuropsychological assessment of your four-year-old. Many families have already visited our offices, where we run standardised tests suitable for the age of 4. Through games, puzzles, counting objects and other activities, we assess key areas such as memory, language, processing speed and executive functions, all of which are basic skills for children’s learning and development.

If during this evaluation we detect a possible alteration or difficulty, we discuss it with you and offer you the necessary recommendations. Our goal is to make this visit a positive and rewarding experience for both your children and you.

In numbers, regarding the 4-year visit, some of the data you have provided on mental health and neurodevelopment, include:

Having observed such a successful data collection so far, we can only express our sincere gratitude for your efforts and cooperation!
